No offense here, but you would be better off using a photographic texture here rather than what (I'm guessing is) something you've made yourself. Its not too hard to find a dumped newspaper, and using this has two major advantages - firstly you get the texture of the paper including the effects of being in the outside, and secondly it will look more realistic in general - the page layout you've used doesn't look like the front of a paper because you aren't a newspaper editor.
But its a decent start, try and also look at how papers get blown into new shapes when outside as well if you do more.
i agree with alex, its a good start. You could use the current texture and just add some dirt and rips over the top to make it a bit more interesting. Also try looking at the colours of old dirty newspaper, after a while on the floor it would get wet and start to rot so it would be alot browner. Nice one anyway, keep it up
